Matt said 'we need a vacation' about two weeks ago so that's just what we did last weekend! We drove up to Omaha and stayed at an indoor water park and hit up the zoo the next day. Minus the food poisoning I encountered and getting poured on at the zoo, we had a pretty nice mini vacation. =) Lucky for us the water park was inside and many of the exhibits at the zoo were also under cover. Carter had a blast! Check out the gorilla giving Carter the 'eyes'! Spooky. Then we drove on over to Grandma and Grandpa Great's house to spend a wonderful evening with them and Aunt Jan and Uncle Tom. We had sooo much fun and Carter and Gavin had a good time getting to know them again. Thanks for having us!

that sounds like a super fun time! we're going to have to take sawyer up to that zoo sometime....and if not before the little girl arrives...i guess she will come too. =)
Hi, to the Brungardt family. We enjoyed your visit so much and enjoyed getting to know our great grandchildren better. First time to see Gavin and enjoyed that. We missed the little ones and you and Matt when you left. Carter and Gavin were such nice little ones. No trouble and no bother. Wished we could do this more often.
