The Good Patient...

Well, Carter had surgery yesterday for a hernia, but not to worry, he did great. There were no complications and he didn't even get sick from the anesthesia. He was a little grumpy yesterday, but today he was back to his usual self...HIGH ENERGY! I think the medicine made him extra hyper, but he seemed to not be in pain so that was good. Here he is right before surgery.
And here he is the day after! His shirt says 'My Operation was Bearable".
And here are two videos to prove he was feeling pretty good. What a goof! =)

I can't believe he feels so spunky right after surgery. He's no whimp for sure! Loved the singing, too. Carter, you're an awesome crooner!

Wow -- Carter you are a rockstar. So happy all went well yesterday and can not believe how SMART you are... ABCs perfect and before 3 years old. I am amazed. Looks like you'll have to teach Owen and Peyton a thing or two. Big luv!

Carer, we did not know you were having surgery. You were a brave little boy and glad it is all behind you. We enjoyed our visit with you and your little brother. Sent your little brother a note too and we enjoyed his talking and telling us you are doing good after the surgery. Take care and love you. Greatgrandpa and Greatgrandma from Iowa
